Futsal is a fun, fast-paced and exciting small-side soccer game.  Played on a small indoor court it develops technical skill and ability as players get hundreds of touches on the ball each game.  GSA is proud to offer this unique experience to our players.

Winter 2023 Futsal Information

Where:

South Gwinnett Park (2115 McGee Rd, Snellville GA 30078)

When:

Monday's - Thursday starting at 5:30pm and latest kick off is 8:30pm.  

December 11-14 / League play 

December 18-21  / League play

December 25-28 / OFF 

January 2-4 / League play

January 8-11  / League play

January 15-18 / League play

January 22-25 / League play

January 29 - February 1 / Semi finals

February 5-8 / Finals

 

*Some game weeks may be moved to the weekend. Advanced notice will be given. 


Ages:
U9 through U14 (Players born between 2015-2010)

Divisions:
Girls / U10, U12, U14

Boys/ U10, U12, U14

Please note it will be combined age groups. U9s will play in the U10 age group, U11s with the U12s and U13s with U14s. 

Format: 
All ages will play 5v5 (4 field players + GK)

Cost: 
$110 per player

Roster Size: 
Min of 6 players; Max of 10

Length of Games: 
2x20 min. halves & 5 min. halftime 

Season: 
Minimum 6 league games. Plus playoff bracket for all teams. 

Registration: 

You MUST have a team and coach prior to registering, if you do not, please see "registration as an individual" below.

Once you have your team and coach, please have the coach email the roster to (george@gsasoccer.com) and have each player register on their Demosphere account. Registration closes on November 30th or when all team slots have been filled. 

Registration as an individual: if you do not have enough players to form a team, please have each player complete this google form. By completing this form you have NOT registered for the program, nor are guaranteed a place. If there are enough individual players interested to form a team, one will be created. The team will need a volunteer coach to be able to be formed.

Are there practices? 

No, this is league play only. 

Who will coach the teams? 

We will require parent volunteers to help manage the teams, mainly assisting with team organization and subs to ensure fair playing time. If you are interested in being a coach please add that to your registration or email george@gsasoccer.com

How are teams formed? 

Please form your roster of 6-10 players and a volunteer coach before registering. Please add your "team name / coaches name" with your registration. 

What about uniforms? 

Players will be required to wear shin guards and indoor shoes (no cleats). Teams will play in red / white jerseys depending on home / away allocation. Uniforms will not be provided.
